Chicago Biomedical Innovation Alliance

Founded in 2019

The Chicago Biomedical Innovation Alliance (CBIA) was founded in 2019 by a group of non-profit organizations dedicated to accelerating transformative scientific discoveries to improve global healthcare.

The CBIA has sponsored the following events.
 
May 23, 2019 - Northwestern workshop on Chicago's 
biomedical innovation districts. The program can be found here.

September 24, 2019 - BISNOW panel on Chicago's biomedical

November '19 to June '20 - Community Colleges Workshops I-IV. Co-sponsored with AUI. More details can be found here.

November 2019 - CBIA partnered with Women In Bio on a work-life integration survey of its membership. The results were published in April 2021 in Nature Biotechnology (click here).

October 2021 - CBIA partnered with iBIO, CBC and Northwestern University on a survey of advanced technology needs of life scientists in the State of Illinois.
