Developers Chart Life Sciences Future for Chicago's Michael Reese Hospital Site

"The long-abandoned Michael Reese Hospital site in downtown Chicago is closer to getting a second chance at life, perhaps appropriately, as a life-sciences hub. Developers have finally unveiled a bold plan to build a massive $6 billion mixed-use complex. Chicago’s Farpoint Development is leading the group that intends to create a roughly 15 million-square-foot campus on a 52-acre plot of land the city owns in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood, sandwiched between the McCormick Place convention center and Lake Michigan."
