William C. Jackson has been named the new executive director of the University of Illinois' Discovery Partners Institute. Johnson, former vice president and division president at the Milwaukee-based company Johnson Controls, will start his new position on January 6, 2020. He succeeds Bill Sanders who left to become dean of the college of engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
